That’s a photon blast. And? A skrull can not do that.

“We were four hours from starting tech rehearsals, my chandeliers lay in pieces on the floor, a jumblr of brass fittings. The specialty lightbulbs we’d ordered were somewhere in Kentucky. I ran downstairs to the basement of Ars Nova, found a whole pile of sockets and a bin of bare lightbulbs, and furiously began dotting the space with hanging lamps. It was a stopgap measure, but in that moment I had stupidly lucked into the concept for the entire show. As we moved from theater to theater, our lights got bigger and brighter. But if I’ve done my job correctly, as Pierre gazes up at the great comet, the feeling of joy and hope that first washed over me in a tiny room with a few lightbulbs will remain exactly the same.”

I get it. She’s smart and lovable. You’re scrappy and lovable.
Together, you’re just lovable and lovable.
